This 56 story luxury highrise soars above the corner of Second Street and Congress Avenue, just one block north of Lady Bird Lake. When the Austonian opened in 2008, it was the tallest residential building west of the Mississippi. It has recently been eclipsed by other commercial towers and residential highrises that are in the works.
